Oak Wall Bars
The client's request was to craft something unique, deviating from the ordinary products available in the market. Although the design follows a standard format, we opted for American white oak as the material, adding a distinctive touch. The bars' height was customized to perfectly suit the client, and they are now fully functional in her home gym. Crafting this piece was a delight, and needless to say, the client is extremely pleased with the result.
Balustrade
An architect provided us with drawings, as the client sought a balustrade beyond the ordinary for her staircase. Following specifications, we used European Oak and opted for utile for all handrails since they were intended for painting. I believe the outcome speaks volumes for itself. Delighted with the result, the client has entrusted us with the task of furnishing her dressing room!
Bespoke Porch
An esteemed client sought a porch that harmonised with her home's aesthetic; so we embarked on crafting a porch imbued with traditional elements. We used green oak as she wanted to create a traditional yet simplistic character to the porch. We are now awaiting the completion of the roofing work to finalise the project.
Window Casements
A lovely set of bespoke window casements for a beautiful Georgian Grade II listed property. Staying true to the building’s heritage, the new casements were crafted to match the original profiles and detailing, in full compliance with conservation requirements. Each casement was hand-built using traditional joinery techniques, with careful attention paid to the slim glazing bars and proportions typical of the era. We fitted single pane glass to maintain historical accuracy, enhancing the building’s character while ensuring the windows remain in keeping with listed building regulations.
Window Shutters
Here’s a set of custom window shutters for a period home, designed to sit perfectly within the existing theme of the room. Made from solid sapele timber, the shutters bring warmth and depth to the space, with a fine grain and rich colour that complements the original detailing beautifully.
These shutters were built to blend in seamlessly – traditional in style, with panelled sections that reflect the room’s classic aesthetic.
Not only do the shutters offer privacy and light control, but they also add a layer of character and craftsmanship that feels right at home in this setting. A subtle yet satisfying addition to an already beautiful space.
